TOP SNACKS FOR WATCHING THE BIG GAME
Let’s face it, burgers and brats are the traditional big game foods, and they have their place on the menu, but sometimes you need to mix things up when preparing that game day spread. So one of my top picks when watching football is adding Sabra Hummus to the party menu. It’s quick, easy and nutritious, and Sabra is the Official Dip Sponsor of Super Bowl 50. Sabra Hummus is delicious, and available in more than a dozen flavors, and made with fresh chickpeas and a touch of garlic and tahini, hummus is the perfect smooth and creamy accompaniment for chips, crackers, veggies and even favorites like chicken wings and burgers. It is perfect for your Super Bowl party table, and a great swap for mayo in egg or potato salad, or perfect on a burger. And remember, you can’t go wrong with Sabra Hummus and, as I discovered, it’s the official dip sponsor of Super Bowl 50.

SPECIAL WAYS THAT YOU LIKE TO SERVE YOUR SUPER BOWL PARTY GUESTS
I like to keep things fun and simple plastic cups and plates help make cleanup easy single serve drinks help guests grab what they need quickly. I’m also really into the environment so I definitely recycle packaging after my Big Game Day party, and every day. Did you know that you can recycle drink jugs and beverage bottles, containers, jars and even the caps and lids your used plastic packaging wants to go on to live another life, for example as kitchen tools, clothes or carpet. When I’m entertaining, I always place a labeled recycle bin by the trash bin to remind guests to recycle.
Plastic product wraps and bags don’t generally go in your curbside bin. Take them back to the store. More than 18,000 grocers and retailers have drop off bins for plastic wraps and bags. You can include bags from bread and produce and wraps like the kind that come around paper towels, cases of drinks and more.

BEVERAGES WE SHOULD SERVE AT OUR SUPER BOWL PARTIES
This is where I like to get creative. Yes, we’ll have beer on ice, but to make a party special service add a signature Mocktail or Cocktail. My favorite is a little POM Wonderful 100% pomegranate juice, with lemonade and sparking water for a refreshing beverage. I call it the POM Pony after the Broncos. Add some Vodka for a little kick, and you have the POM Panther; but you’re getting all the antioxidant goodness of Pomegranate Juice. This is also a refreshing beverage before or after your workout. Drink it daily, feel it forever.

POM Pony & POM Panther Recipe
- 3/8 cup freshly squeezed pomegranate juice* or POM Wonderful 100% Pomegranate Juice
- 3/8 cup fresh lemonade**
- 1-1/2 oz. sparkling water
- Lemon slice
- Mint sprig
Fill a tall tumbler glass a little more than halfway with ice cubes. Pour 3/8 cup fresh lemonade into the glass, up to the halfway mark. Slowly add pomegranate juice. (The goal is to create a mix of half lemonade and half pomegranate juice, so adjust accordingly for the size of your glass.) Add sparkling water. Stir with an iced-tea spoon or a swizzle stick. Serve and enjoy!
